The Copernicus Training and Information Session to be held on 30 and 31 October 2018 in Oslo, Norway, is part of a series of national Copernicus events. The European Commission is organising the Sessions at the request of, and in collaboration with Member States.

This Training and Information Session will be hosted at the Oslo House of Innovation (OHIO) in the centre of Oslo in collaboration with the Norwegian Space Centre and Kjeller Innovation. 

The event aims to promote awareness of the many uses of Copernicus data and information, while focusing on local interests and needs:


  • Introduction to Copernicus data access mechanisms, including DIAS
  • Coastal zone monitoring
  • Funding mechanisms
  • Copernicus for renewable energy, climate change and air quality
  • Start-up community
